My name is Olivier; I'm a writer, cultural facilitator, literary critic, storyteller, radio host, strategist, speaker, and consultant, passionate about bridging the gaps between culture, business, and creativity/innovation.
Originally from France, now living in Australia for the past 13 years, I’m passionately involved in the Franco-Australian scene, organising and hosting monthly bi-cultural events for the Alliance Française de Sydney.
My Story
I began my career as a PwC consultant in London, where I gained extensive experience in developing and implementing business strategies for diverse clients, driving resilient growth throughout the business cycle.
Over time, I transitioned to helping businesses scale and evolve, leveraging my expertise to design operational frameworks and lead transformation programs. I was instrumental in launching new businesses at Dresdner Kleinwort and a startup hedge fund, both in London. I then spent a decade at Macquarie Group, first as part of the central strategy team and later as the head of the strategy function within the Risk Management Division.
Following my tenure at Macquarie, I joined The Being Group, a creative agency, where I contributed to the development of the strategic practice—establishing key partnerships, driving revenue growth, and exploring new market opportunities, including the use of AI.
I am now Client Solutions Director at Yakkazoo, a boutique consultancy with creative DNA, where I lead the development of the Research and Consulting service vertical. My unique blend of consulting and creative industry experience allows me to approach opportunities and challenges with a strategic yet innovative mindset.
In recognition of my work, I received the 2024 French Australian Excellence Award in the Arts, Culture, Entertainment, and Events category for creating a talk show at the Alliance Française Sydney. Passionate about contributing to the community, I continue to explore initiatives that bridge strategy, creativity, and culture.
